I don't even know how I'm typing right now lmao, I've been passed out on the couch for the past three days

so yeah

back from the hospital

and I'm sure aaaallll care to hear about my wonderful experience. Probably not. but I'll go on anyways 8D

they wanted me there at like 7:30am for all the pre-op stuff, so when they called me back they gave me a cup and were like "okay we need you to pee into this"

Earlier that morning I figured since at my pre-op schedule earlier that week they didn't want a urine sample, I definitely didn't think they'd need one day-of surgery.. so.. here I am with this cup and I say outloud "goddamnit, I shouldn't have peed earlier this morning"

the nurse is like "well we only need three drops, can you give us something?"

it's not like they can give me a glass of water since they told me I couldn't have anything after midnight the previous night, so about 20 minutes later I handed the cup back with hardly anything in it :C that was one of the more unpleasant parts of the morning. NOTHING LIKE TRYING TO PEE WHEN YOU REALLY JUST DON'T HAVE TO. it was just.. awkward. probably just as awkward as you reading this. 8D

so then after that they gave me a gown and told me to change. What I don't like about hospital gowns is that you're BUTT NAKED under them >:C I dunno about you but I certainly don't enjoy the breeze every time I sit up lmao. Oh well, on the bright side when I changed they told me to lay down in the bed and they brought some heated blankets in. That was nice |D

until they jabbed the IV in. Thankfully they numbed my arm before that. Of course, with another needle. they gave me this IV in the side of my arm/wrist which is unusual, I've always had them on the inside of my arm, up on the inside of my elbow. o.o

They pumped a load of fluids in me (which all came out on the 2nd day but I'll get to that later) and my mom was like "okay I'll see you when you get out" and they wheeled me to the operating room. The surgeon asked "is it alright if we play music in here?" and I'm like "sure whatever" so he turns on his iHome thing and they asked me a few questions regarding work and school..

next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery and there was some screaming kid in the next.. curtain.. thing over. and goddamn the side of my neck really hurt. Apparently more than one node was bad so they took all the ones in the right side of my neck out.

My mouth felt dry, they pulled the breathing tube out and gave me some water and then they gave me a shot of.. something.. some sort of pain killer and something to subdue the nausea from the anesthetic (I didn't feel sick but it was a precaution). they took out my IV, handed me my bag of clothes and said "okay you need to get dressed and go home". like, I was still groggy and all wobbly so I tried to stand up and was like "dear god I hope I don't fall over"... I can't imagine anything worse than falling over on the hospital floor naked XD thankfully I had went to the hospital in my pajamas so getting dressed wasn't TOO difficult.

so then after they they were like "okay you shouldn't be standing" (wtf?") and made me sit in a wheelchair, and they wheeled me out to my mom and then out to our car.

..I don't really remember much else from that day. when I got home my mom gave me a pain killer (they prescribed me with Norco/hydrocodone) and I woke up around 6pm, ate dinner, mom gave me another pill and I woke up the next morning.

then yesterday (the next day) was probably the most painful day. my cut was extremely sore (I still dunno how many stitches there are, it's all bandaged) and I had a MASSIVE headache for some reason (and still do). to top it off, all the fluids they pumped in me the previous day were coming out so I was literally getting up to pee like, every hour or something like that.

today I woke up feeling a little more normal, still pretty sore (and my neck is really stiff) but well enough to be up and typing I guess. I still got the headache from hell which I'm guessing must be from the painkillers since I'm trying to stop taking them today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be okay to go to school.

As for what to expect in prices..

Sketches - $5

If you want a bust sketch I will knock the price down to $3. I will also charge $3 for each additional character
